It takes the form of a code module that can be called from a host of programming languages, but was specifically designed to be used with Microsoft's ASP Server Side Scripting technology as used in Microsoft's Internet Information Server (IIS) for Windows NT and Personal Web Server (PWS) for Windows 95/98.
