A generic .NET data access layer component. This component is used by all Active Data Online .NET database applications. It abstracts and optimises repetitive ADO.NET code. And it provides the business layer with the ability to create database neutral SQL statements. ActiveDataOnline.DAL.dll handles database transactions where necessary, and supports both dynamic SQL statements and database stored procedures. (Where stored procedures are being used, database transactions are presumed to be handled within the stored procedures.)
